WV DHHR Map, Mingo County "orange" Today


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 186 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,256 active cases.


A Total of 370 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.

Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 2.56%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Thursday morning, 6 counties are in the “gold” category. “Gold” counties include Logan and Boone.


Mingo counties is orange, the second most restrictive category.


Wayne and Wyoming counties are yellow.


Lincoln and McDowell counties is green.


No counties are red.


West Virginia has 17,325 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
