The Logan County Health Department reported and additional death associated with COVID-19 Monday.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 78-year-old female attributed to coronavirus. Since the onset of the outbreak, 147 Logan County residents have succumbed to COVID-19.
Browning also confirmed 58 new cases of the virus and 112 new cases have been discovered since New Year’s Eve. Fifty-one cases were cleared for recovery Monday.
Logan County currently has 219 active cases of COVID-19
Nineteen people remain hospitalized.
