The Logan County Health Department confirmed 79 cases of COVID-19.

As of two o’clock Monday afternoon, 79 new cases of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing.

The new infections accumulated since the last reporting five days ago on December 23.

Logan County has 306 active cases, 1,251 recoveries and 56 fatalities for a cumulative total of 1,613 cases of COVID-19.

Twenty-nine people are hospitalized.
