LOGAN A man and woman have been charged with Human Trafficking out of Logan County.
Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy, Corporal TC Johnson says the two 18-year-olds, Andrew Joshua Snyder and Alyssa Lynn Fodor, are persons of interest in a case involving two juveniles out of Pasco County, Florida.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court Friday evening, Corporal Johnson responded to the Laurelwood Apartments at Monaville where he did locate the missing juveniles and detained Fodor and Snyder.
The minors say the defendants stole the vehicle that transported everyone involved from Florida to West Virginia. Johnson states in the complaint, Fodor and Snyder “made both juvenile victims feel that their safety was in jeopardy.” The juveniles say they were afraid to be left somewhere or physically hurt if they didn’t comply with the defendant’s demands.
Moreover, the victims told police that Fodor and Snyder forced “them to produce videos of themselves conducting sexual acts and or distribute said videos in order to obtain money for gas and travels.”
The duo’s cash-only bond has been set at $300,000 by Magistrate Joe Mendez.
The charge of Human Trafficking a minor is a felony and carries with it twenty years in prison, a fine up to $300,000 or both.
