Five puppies abandoned on the side of a busy roadway Monday have found forever homes.
Boone County Deputies are still searching for a person responsible for abandoning the puppies.
The puppies, five in all, were found on U.S. 119 North near Lee Miller Road.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 304-369-7340.
The puppies are in the care of the Danville Animal Clinic and the Boone Animal Rescue Coalition until they are ready to go to their new homes.
