UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled, girl found safe

WINCHESTER, Ky. The Amber Alert was lifted after the girl and mother were found in Kentucky.


Kentucky State Police 6-year-old Mila Carf is safe and her mother now faces charges in both the state of Kentucky and the state of West Virginia.


Winchester Police reported that the Shana Carf did not immediately pull over after police discovered her traveling on Interstate 64. According to police, Carf struck numerous police cruisers. Mila was unharmed.


Shana Carf's charges include: evading police, wanton endangerment of a police officer, wanton endangerment, and resisting arrest among many other charges and counts.


ONA An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing child in Cabell County.


Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Mila Carf. A 6-year-old white female, Mila was abducted Tuesday, December 13 by Shana Carf, her non-custodial mother.


Mila is three-feet four- inches, 65 pounds with brown eyes and hair.


Shana is 37 years old, five-feet seven-inches, 170 pounds with brown eyes and hair.

Mila was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and athletic shoes. She was last seen at 89 Blue Spruce in Ona.


They may be traveling in a white 2014 four-door Toyota Corolla, West Virginia registration 33G810.
