The Boone County Health Department is looking to resume their services this month after previously being suspended.
Earlier in the year, the department was found lacking after an inspection.
Findings from an onsite evaluation by a Bureau for Public Health quality assurance monitoring team determined that the Health Department did not have written policies or procedures for infection prevention, hand hygiene, or environmental cleaning.
Representatives with the department said those violations have been addressed and corrected.
The Boone County Health Department could resume medical services as soon as April 10.
