Some Boone Memorial Hospital employees joined the ranks of the COVID-19 vaccinated.
The shots were administered Monday.
Doctors will be the first to receive the vaccine – working down the line of front line workers at the hospital. A total of 93 employees of Boone Memorial Hospital have agreed to take the vaccine as it becomes available.
The vaccine takes about an hour as staff members monitor patients for any sign of side effects.
