LONDON According to court records, 45-year-old Pamela Denise Sargent of Kimper faces four counts of producing child sexual abuse material. Her attorney filed a motion on Monday asking the court to allow her to change her plea after reaching an agreement with prosecutors for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Federal prosecutors said the investigation began in Missouri, where authorities arrested a man accused of possessing and distributing explicit material involving a minor. Investigators said the man told police he received videos from a Kentucky woman and her daughter.

Court records said investigators traced the videos to Sargent. She was arrested in August 2025.

Sargent had been scheduled to stand trial March 30. Following the motion filed on Monday, however, a hearing has been scheduled for March 20 in federal court in Lexington.

Sargent remains in custody at the Grayson County Detention Center in Leitchfield.
