A Chapmanville man was arrested following an altercation with a woman over the weekend.
According to the criminal complaint, a female victim alleged the man grabbed her.
67-year-old John Patrick Brennan, of Chapmanville, was arrested for allegedly committing battery.
Audio and video statements from witnesses allege battery by physically, intentionally, and unlawfully making physical contact in an insulting or provoking nature to the victim.
Brennan was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond with the condition he have no contact with the victim.
