A section of the Coalfields Expressway opened in Wyoming County Thursday.
After a ribbon cutting ceremony, the new piece of road opened and completed a more than 20-year project.
Gov. Jim Justice said this opening will not only effect better travel and business in Wyoming County, but in neighboring McDowell and Raleigh Counties as well.
The Coalfields Expressway is an ongoing project in southern West Virginia.
