The Logan County Health Department reported eight additional new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
Eight new infections were detected through laboratory testing today, and six recoveries were also reported.
Logan County has 47 active cases, 2,898 recoveries and 83 fatalities for a cumulative total of 3,028 cases of COVID-19.
Nine people remain hospitalized.

Free COVID-19 testing will be administered at the Logan County Resource Center at Peach Creek on Tuesday. The testing will be conducted between noon and 5 p.m. tomorrow. Testing is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
I.D. is required and those under the age of eighteen must have a parent or legal guardian present.
