WEST LOGAN A fire reported at a commercial structure in West Logan Monday.
City of Logan Fire Department responded to a call at American Hydraulics and Rebuild Inc. at 604 1/2 Main Avenue just before four o’clock Monday afternoon.
Firefighting crews found heavy smoke coming from the structure upon arrival on the scene. According to Fire Chief Scott Beckett, firefighters found one room fully involved.
Chief Beckett says the owner of the business discovered the fire in the electrical repair room and fought the flames until crews were on scene. Beckett said he did good job, too.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly with minimal damage and American Hydraulics reopened Monday.
No injuries reported.
