Free COVID-19 Testing In Boone And Mingo County

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has announced COVID-19 testing events in Boone and Mingo County.

Testing sites in Boone County include:

  • April 12 and 16, noon – 6 p.m., Boone County Health Department, 213 Kenmore Drive, Danville.

  • April 13, 14 and 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Boone County Health Department, 213 Kenmore Drive, Danville. Pre-register here.

In addition, pharmacy sites offer recurring testing every week in Boone County:

  • Hygeia, 37456 Coal River Road, Whitesville; Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Hygeia, 35767 Pond Fork Road, Wharton; Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Southern West Virginia Health Systems, 471 Main Street, Madison; Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • Walgreens, 69 Lewis Street, Whitesville; Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. For an appointment, click here.

  • April 13, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Kermit Fire Department, 49 Main Street, Mingo

  • April 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Delbarton Fire Department, County Highway 65/12, Delbarton

  • Hurley Drug Company, Inc, 210 Logan Street, Williamson; Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • Southern West Virginia Health System, 202 Larry Joe Harless Drive, Gilbert; Wednesday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • Williamson Health and Wellness Center, 184 E Second Avenue, Williamson; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
