Governor Jim Justice announced the color coded map is no longer needed to determine the rate of infection in the Mountain State.
Jefferson County is the only red county in the state. Seven counties are orange including Boone and Wayne counties. Eight counties are yellow including Logan. Six counties are gold including Lincoln and Mingo. The 33 other counties are green.
An additional 389 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today by the DHHR.
West Virginia has 5,581 active cases of coronavirus.
Six West Virginians have died in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the outbreak, 2,619 people in the Mountain State have succumbed to coronavirus.
Governor Jim Justice also announced summer camps can resume May 1 and live music can begin again Wednesday.
