The #6 ranked Man Hillbillies take on county rival the Logan Wildcats in the traditional season opener on Friday, August 27. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. on WVOW Radio.
Man is the only team in the Coalfields ranked in the week 1 MetroNews Power Rankings.

Herbert Hoover will take on Scott.
Braxton County will take on Lincoln; Toslia versus Wayne; and WestSide will play Wyoming East.
Tug Valley will take on Shady Spring.
Van will play Meadow Bridge.
