LOGAN Howling into Friday's game on a hot streak, the Herbert Hoover Huskies kept its winning ways with a 56-14 victory over Logan at Willis-Nisbet Stadium.

The Huskies (7-2), who dropped their first two games to start the season, have won seven straight heading into the Class AA playoffs. Led by quarterback Dane Hatfield, the high-power Huskies offense has scored more than 40 points in their last seven games.

Herbert Hoover finished ninth in the final Class AA rankings and will travel to eighth seed Clay County on Nov. 11 for a 7:30 p.m. kick.
