A duo of executive orders issued last week by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear have went into effect.

One order capped indoor social gatherings at two households and 8 people.

Restaurants and Bars are no longer conducting food or beverage service indoors. Outdoor service is permitted but can be no more than 8 people seated at tables spaced six feet apart.

As of today, all public and private schools in the Bluegrass State have transitioned to remote learning. Middle schools and high schools will not resume in-person instruction before January 4. Elementary schools may reopen to in-person instruction December 7 if not located in a red zone.

On Sunday, Beshear announced 2,194 new cases of COVID-19 in the Commonwealth.
