Ky. Relief Fund Aimed at Helping Bars and Restaurants

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear ordered restaurants and bars to close indoor dining between November 20 and December 13.

Food service businesses feeling the strain from restrictions, shutdowns and capacity limitations have an opportunity to apply for financial relief from the Food and Beverage Relief Fund.

Applications are being accepted now from businesses defined as a restaurant or bar with less than 50% drive-thru sales.

A business, if eligible, can receive up $10,000 per location. The fund is capped at $20,000 for a single business entity. A restaurant or bar must have less than 50% drive-thru sales.

Documentation will need to be included with application such as liquor license, local health department permits and pictures of the establishment

Application will be open until December 18 unless the fund is depleted before then.

To apply, a Kentucky food service may do so here https://teamkyfbrf.ky.gov/Home.aspx
