Lady Hillbillies fall on the road at Charleston Catholic, 51-15

CHARLESTON Annie Cimino scored 11 points and Charleston Catholic defeated Man 51-15 on Saturday afternoon at the Charleston Catholic Athletic Facility.


Charleston Catholic jumped out to a 17-3 lead after one quarter and led 30-6 at halftime. The Lady Irish made 10 first half field goals while holding the Lady Hillbillies to one field, a Jace Baisden 3-pointer in the first quarter.


Jace Baisden led Man with five points while Jenna Baisden scored four and Tori Honaker added three points for the Lady Hillbillies, who finished with five made field goals.


Aurelia Kirby, Claire Mullen and Katherine Skinner each had seven points while Mary Rushworth finished with six points for Charleston Catholic.


Charleston Catholic (5-3) returns to the hardwood on Tuesday at Buffalo (Putnam), while Man (1-5) will be in action on Thursday at home against Class A No. 10 Tolsia.
