Lady Tigers dominate on the road at Scott

MADISON Class AA No. 10 Chapmanville had little trouble with Scott Thursday night at the Hawks Nest as the Lady Tigers took down the Lady Skyhawks 72-46.


In a complete team effort, nine Lady Tigers cracked the scoring column as Chapmanville scored a season-high 72 points in the dominating win.


Chapmanville led by 10 after one quarter and stretched its lead to 19 at halftime. The Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Skyhawks by 13 in the third quarter to stretch their lead to 32 points.


Alaira Evans and Jaiden Mahon combined for 43 points. Evans led the way with a game-high 22 points and Mahon had 21 while Jaycee Blair added nine and Chole Thompson seven for the Lady Tigers (12-7).


Kelsey Harper led Scott with 17 points while Jenna Butcher finished with 12 and Cheyenne Robinson 11 for the Lady Skyhawks (5-15).
