WAYNE Four Lady Pioneers scored in double figures as Class AAA No. 2 Wayne defeated Class AA No. 8 Chapmanville 65-33 Tuesday night at Wayne High School.
Brooke Adkins had 19 points, Laneigh Brooks scored 14 points and Jace Sammons and Addie Adkins added 13 and 10 points respectively for Wayne, who improved to 3-0 this season.
The Lady Pioneers shot 51.9% from the field and held the Lady Tigers to 23.9% shooting from the field.
Daizi Farley had nine points and Jaycee Blair and Alaira Evans each had eight points to lead Chapmanville in scoring.
Mikayla Stacy added seven points and Kiya Brown had four points for Wayne.
Brooke Christian scored five points and Jaiden Mahon three to round out the scoring for Chapmanville, who dropped to 2-2 this season.
