Lincoln County Schools released its mask policy for the new school year.
Students will be required to wear masks, if Lincoln County is in orange or red on the county alert map. This means that students will have to wear masks on the first day of school, because the county is currently orange.
If the color on the map improves, masks will be recommended but not required.
Board members said masks will also be required on buses and will be recommended for spectators at indoor sporting events.
