Lincoln County seeks funding for a new grade school in the Duval school district.
On Monday, Lincoln County presented the School Building Authority with a 10-year plan that included a funding search to construct a new Duval-Midway Elementary school.
The county has begun the pursuit of a new location after the current school was deemed structurally unsafe and forced students to be transported to three different schools for the current school year.
The SBA learned more about a preventative maintenance program in schools all across the state at the authority’s quarterly meeting yesterday.
