A barber shop in the City of Logan will provide free haircuts for youngsters this weekend.
Brick’s Cuts on Dingess Street will be trimming the heads of young men ages 18 and younger this Saturday.
Shop Co-Owner Ernie Shaw says the cuts are a way of giving back to the community.
“We want to be known for more than just giving haircuts,” Shaw said. “We want to be a contributor to what’s going on in Logan County. I think that’s growth.”
This weekend will be the second time the shop has provided free haircuts. Previously, Shaw set a goal of 50 cuts and fell just short of that goal with 43 cuts. The goal is the same this Saturday, but the shop hopes to surpass that goal. Regardless, the mission is to provide haircuts for young men in the community.
Brick’s Cuts is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday and closed Sundays.
