The Logan County Health Department confirmed an additional death and over 40 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon.
Health Department Director Steve Browning confirmed the death of a 66-year-old male due to complications from coronavirus.
Since the health department’s last report Friday afternoon, 42 more cases of the virus were confirmed through laboratory testing. Moreover, 34 additional recoveries were reported.
Logan County has 235 active cases, 2,263 recoveries and 67 fatalities for a cumulative total of 2,565 cases of COVID-19.
Thirty people remain hospitalized.
