Logan County "gold" Today, According to WV DHHR Map


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 335 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Friday morning, West Virginia has 4,602 active cases.


Since the onset of the outbreak, 422 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Four deaths were reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 3.85%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Friday morning, Logan is in the “gold” category.


Boone, Mingo and Wayne counties continue to be in the orange.


Lincoln is yellow and McDowell is green.


Wyoming County is the only county in red.


West Virginia has 21,392 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
