Logan High Wildcats earned a spot in the final game of the state baseball tournament win a victory over Herbert Hoover.
The Huskies were leading Logan for the first half of the game, but 2 RBI’s in the fifth inning by Aiden Slack put the Wildcats up 4-3.
A walked run in the sixth tied the game at 4-4 but A run batted in by Logan’s Konner Lowe in the bottom of seventh ended a Huskie miracle with a final score 5-4. Logan advances to the finals.
North Marion cemented their spot in the finals earlier today. Marion defeated Independence 7-2.
Logan will now face North Marion tomorrow afternoon to the decide the 2021 Class AA State High School Baseball Championship.
