The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 176 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock this morning, West Virginia has 4,068 active cases.
A Total of 354 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus since the onset of the outbreak.
Today’s daily positive rate of infection is 2.67%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Thursday morning, 5 counties are in the “gold” category. “Gold” counties include Lincoln and Wayne.
Boone and Kanawha counties are orange, the second most restrictive category.
Logan, Mingo and McDowell counties are green.
