ARACOMA, WVa Logan County Schools announced Monday numerous early dismissals this week for the state boys basketball tournament at the Charelston Coliseum and Convention Center.
According to a social media post by Logan County Schools, the early dismissals are to afford staff and students the opportunity to attend the Man and Logan state tournament basketball games Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
Man High, Man Middle, Man Elementary, South Man Elementary, and Buffalo Elementary schools will dismiss early Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
Number two Man Hillbillies play number seven Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders Tuesday in the Class A quarterfinals at 1 p.m.
On Wednesday, Logan area schools will dismiss for the Logan Wildcats game against the Scott Skyhawks in Class AAA.
Logan High, Logan Middle, Logan Elementary, Holden Elementary, Justice Elementary, Omar Elementary, and Verdunville Elementary schools will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
Number two Logan will play number seven Scott at 1 p.m.
