A ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday will celebrate an online nursing program partnership between Logan Regional Medical Center and West Virginia Junior College.
The hybrid online registered nursing program is a first-of-its-kind educational model designed to accelerate the nursing shortage recovery, according to a press release from West Virginia Junior College.
Guests will have a chance to tour the program’s Mobile Nursing Lab, a 38-foot RV retrofitted with two simulated hospital rooms for nursing training
The event will begin at eleven o’clock Tuesday morning on Logan Regional Medical Center.
