Man struck by vehicle at Price Bottom

PRICE BOTTOM A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the Holden area Thursday, March 2.


According to Logan Chief Deputy Mike Lafauci, 24-year-old Christopher Maynard of Harts exited a Tri River Transit bus at Price bottom Road in Holden last Thursday afternoon. He crossed in front of the bus and in the path a of a vehicle driven by 54-0year-old Tammy Delong of Rum Creek.


Chief Lafauci said the driver attempted to swerve to miss Mr. Maynard but he was struck by the vehicle.


Maynard was transported to Logan Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

There is currently no update on either individual.


Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies, Cora Volunteer Volunteer Fire Department and the Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority responded to the scene.
