The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 358 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.
As of 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, West Virginia has 4,557 active cases of coronavirus.
Since the onset of the outbreak, 436 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. Four deaths have been reported in the last 24-hours.
Today’s daily positive infection rate is 4.29%.
According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Wednesday morning, Mingo and Wyoming counties are in the “red” category. “Red” is the most restrictive category.
Wayne County continues to be in the orange.
Logan, Lincoln and Boone counties are gold.
McDowell County is green.
