The Mingo County Health Department received another shipment of COVID-19 vaccines after nearly a month-long wait.
The Mingo County Health Department administered its first doses of the vaccine in January to citizens 80 and older.
This week, Mingo County goes back to work getting those second doses for people over 80 with a wider community vaccination plan by mid-February.
Those next doses will be available for people 65 and older in the county. Mingo County will get 300 primary doses each week, starting next week, in addition to the booster doses they need.
Someone from the Mingo County Health Department will contact those who need a booster shot with information regarding when and where to get it.
