Mingo Remains Red, Wayne and Wyoming Still Orange


The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 352 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24-hours.


As of 10 o’clock Monday morning, West Virginia has 5,557 active cases of coronavirus.


Since the onset of the outbreak, 458 West Virginians have succumbed to the virus. One death was reported in the last 24-hours.


Today’s daily positive infection rate is 4.19%.


According to the state DHHR color-coded map released Monday morning, Mingo County is in the “red” category. “Red” is the most restrictive category.


Wayne and Wyoming counties are in the orange.


Logan and Lincoln counties are gold.


Boone County is Yellow, and McDowell County is green.


West Virginia has 25,235 cumulative cases of coronavirus.
