According to the WV Metrics map as of press time, the majority of the Coalfields counties are in the yellow one week before school begins.
Boone, Lincoln, McDowell, Mingo, Wayne and Wyoming Counties are yellow, meaning in-person classes may resume on September 8.
Logan County is in the orange, meaning no in-person meeting or extracurricular activities at this time.
