A new circuit judge for Boone and Lincoln counties to be sworn in Friday.
Stacy Lynn Nowicki-Eldridge will be sworn in as the new Judge for the Twenty-Fifth Judicial Circuit Court Friday in the courtroom of the Boone County Courthouse. The ceremony is set for 3:30 p.m.
Ms. Nowicki-Eldridge is a 1996 WVU graduate and 1999 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. For the past twenty years, Nowicki has mostly practiced law as an Assistant Attorney General for the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office.
Moreover,she was Deputy General Counsel for the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security at the time of her appointment to the bench by Governor Justice.
She and her family live in Lincoln County.
The ceremony is open to the public, but masks are required by visitors to the courthouse.
