The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported 828 new cases of COVID-19.
As of 10 o’clock Monday morning, West Virginia has 27,362 active cases of coronavirus.
Since the onset of the outbreak, 1,396 West Virginians have succumbed to COVID-19. Twenty people died in the last 20 hours.
Today’s daily positive infection rate is 13.81%.
According to the color-coded map released Monday morning, Calhoun County is gold. All other counties are either red or orange.
Boone, Logan, Lincoln, Mingo, Wayne, Wyoming and 37 other counties are all in the red zone.
West Virginia has received 103,375 doses of vaccine. As of press time, 55,221 doses have been administered.
