West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced open registrations for savings bond or gift cards to certain age groups getting vaccinated.
West Virginians, between the ages of16 and 35, are eligible for either a $100 savings bond or a $100 gift card if they get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Moreover, Justice announced the gift card and savings bond program is retroactive and applies to anyone between the ages of 16 and 35 who chooses to be vaccinated.
“Not only are you picking up a few extra bucks,” Justice said, “but you may very well have saved your life or saved others.”

The governor also announced the state’s senior centers are preparing to open. Justice said guidance from the Bureau of Senior Service is forthcoming. Anyone not fully vaccinated will still have to wear a mask while visiting
