MAN Town Council at Man approved an ordinance to remove parking meters in town limits.
Mayor John Fekete proposed removing the meters once he was appointed mayor earlier this year. Fekete believes the elimination of the parking meters will encourage more business in downtown Man.
According to the ordinance, instead of meters, parking will be limited to two hours for public parking between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
The second and final reading was unanimously approved during the May meeting of the Town Council on Monday, May eighth.
