Power Outages Still An Issue In The Coalfields After Storms

MINGO COUNTY Some residents of the Coalfields are still in the dark after heavy storms knocked out power for many customers in the region last week.

The majority of outages in the Coalfields are reported in Mingo County with 2,302 outages reported as of this morning. Many outages have an estimated restoration time of 10 p.m. tomorrow.

In Logan County, 510 customers are still in the dark. Many outages have an estimated restoration time of 10 p.m. tomorrow.

Wayne County is reporting 373 outages while Wyoming County is reporting 255 outages. Wayne County outages are expected to be fully restored by 10 p.m. tomorrow. Wyoming County outages have an estimated restoration time of 4 p.m. today.

Boone and Lincoln County outages have almost been fully restored. Boone County is still reporting 28 outages as of this morning, fewer than 5 outages were reported in Lincoln County. The outages in Lincoln County have an estimated restoration time of 3 p.m. today. Outages in Boone County have an estimated restoration time for 10 p.m. tomorrow.
