Power Restored To The Majority Of The Coalfields - Efforts Continue

Power has been restored to the majority of customers who have gone without in the Coalfields.


Some pockets of outages remain.


In Boone County, 23 outages remain. Outages in Brushton and Ridgeview are estimated to be restored by 4 p.m. Outages in Uneeda should be restored by 12 p.m. Outages near Spruce Fork are expected to be restored by 12:30 p.m.


In Lincoln County, 157 outages are still being reported. Outages on Perry Road are expected to be restored by 12 p.m. Outages along McClarity Branch are expected to be restored by 4 p.m. Outages between McClarity Branch and Lick Creek are estimated to be restored by 12:30 p.m.


In Logan County, 28 outages remain. Pockets of outages in the Aracoma area, near Phico, in the Lake area and just outside of Chapmanville are expected to be restored by 4 p.m. A handful of outages near Harts Creek are expected to be restored by 3 p.m.


In Mingo County, 360 outages remain. The majority of those outages, from Dunlow to Dingess, were caused by a car accident. Estimated restoration time is 4 p.m. Pockets of outages at Cabwaylingo, Kermit, Wilsondale, and Myrtle are expected to be restored by 4 p.m. Outages in the Lenore/Naugatuck area have an estimated restoration time of 10 p.m.


In Wayne County, there are still 217 outages. The outages are scattered throughout the county and restoration times vary between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
