LOGAN Pride Community Services will be conducting a COVID-19 vaccine event Tuesday.
The vaccine event will take place at PRIDE’s offices on 669 East Stratton Street.
Vaccines are available to everyone but the clinic is meant to vaccinate seniors
Program Support Director Brenda York says the clinic is focused on getting 1 of the first 3 shots to the area’s senior citizens.
“We want to target the seniors,” York told WVOW News, “that have never received one of the three vaccines.”
Seniors receiving one of the first three shots will receive $50
York says the clinic is focused on senior, but the clinic is open to everyone
“Anyone under the age of 60, who want to come down and get a vaccine, they will receive a free gift,” York said.
Vaccines will be available Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at PRIDE’s office on Stratton Street.
Transportation is available by calling 304-752-6868
Coalfield Health will be administering the shots and Mountain State Parent Child and Adolescent Network will provide gifts for those under 60 receiving the vaccine.
