Hundreds of thousands of dollars will go toward infrastructure improvement in eastern Kentucky.
On Tuesday, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear presented a check for more than $367,000 for highway improvements in Pike County, KY.
The money will go toward resurfacing projects in Brushy Creek and Big Creek. The project will cover a total of 7 miles.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the road resurfacing will impact 126 residents and at least two businesses.
