Commuters may want to leave for work earlier than usual Monday.
West Virginia Department of Highways will be working along the boulevard from the intersection of Route 44 and 73 up to Landau Lane (commonly called the state police bridge).
Motorist can expect delays and possible traffic pattern changes all week.
The road work will begin Monday morning around seven o'clock, and last until four o'clock each afternoon.
Drivers should us caution and be alert for equipment and workers in the areas where the road project is being completed.
The work is expected to last all week.
