Williamson Police say a man and woman stabbed one another during an early morning altercation.
According to a criminal complaint, the incident occurred at the Liberty Heights apartment complex. Police say Karen Hurley and Brandon Hampton stabbed and cut each other with a knife and sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
Hurley also stands accused of allegedly brandishing a handgun.
According to police, Hurley said the altercation was a result of smoking methamphetamine days earlier.
Moreover, a seven-year-old juvenile was reportedly present during some of the incident and was taken in by a concerned neighbor. The child reportedly left the residence by their own choice and on foot.
