WHITMAN Two men in jail after police drug raid in Whitman.
West Virginia State Police, the US 119 Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at Walnut Hill Road in Whitman on Monday, January 22.
Police say they found 188 grams of meth, 3.5 grams of fentanyl, 32 grams of suspect crack cocaine and thirty grams of marijuana
Police arrested 51-year-old Whitman resident Charles Patterson on three counts of conspiracy with intent for crack, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
Bond set at $50,000 cash only.
Police also arrested 33-year-old Thaabit Bashir, of Columbus, Ohio. Bashir’s charges include three counts of possession with intent and conspiracy with intent for meth crack and fentanyl
Cash bond set at $100,000 cash only.
According to the criminal complaint, police say they learned over the course of investigation that Patterson was allowing individuals, including Bashir, to stay at the residence and sell drugs.
