Governor Jim Justice announced attorney Brian Abraham, the governor’s chief council since 2017, will be the new chief of staff for Justice’s second term of office.

Abraham’s predecessor, former State Senator Mike Hall, announced his retirement last week.

Abraham was the elected prosecutor of Logan County for 10 years between 1999 and 2009.

He also served as Special Assistant United States Attorney for Kentucky and Tennessee.

Abraham will begin his stint as chief of staff on January 1.
