Wayne County arson arrest made Thursday

FORT GAY West Virginia State Police said the investigation of a barn fire in Wayne County led to the arrest of a North Dakota fugitive.

37-year- old Eric Jonathan Taylor has been charged with arson. Moreover, Mr. Taylor has been charged for being a fugitive from justice for a probation violation in N.D.

Fire was reported along Hewlet Road in Fort Gay about 7 o’clock Thursday night. Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department responded to put out the blaze.

Taylor was arrested and transported to the Western Regional Jail.
