WAYNE Senior Ivan Miller scored 25 points to lead four Wildcats in double figures as Logan defeated Wayne 72-61 Tuesday night (12/23/25) at Pioneer Gym.
Miller hauled down 16 rebounds, posting a double-double, as Logan (2-3) led by eight after one quarter, however, the Wildcats had to hold off a late charge from the Pioneers, who drew to within three points on multiple occasions over the final three quarters.
A trio of sophomores joined Miller in double figures as Zo Murphy finished with 16 points, Lucas Lambert scored 15 and pulled down 12 rebounds while Bentley Williamson chipped in with 10 points for the Wildcats. Landon Hall dished out a team-high eight assists to go along with four points.
Colton Preece paced Wayne (2-3) with 15 points and Colton Heck scored 11. Andrew Dotson and Landon Preece each had nine points and Carter Ross eight for the Pioneers.
Wayne travels to Spring Valley Saturday. Logan returns to action January 2 at rival Scott.
